Nice site, a bit too much grey for my liking, although at the moment it's quite dark here so maybe the grey just stands out. Perhaps you should host your own forum though, add to that "professional" feel you're after.

Um I'd be scared if he HAD to replace xheader.twx since TWX files (Trade Wars Export file) concerns tcp/ip settings and has nothing to do with php. And since phpBB uses .tpl files (Template file) I assume you're not on about this forum at all. :D

It looks like a mess with Opera. You have lots of errors in html code.

Well, i designed it to work with IE Netscape, which includes Mozilla browsers.
So to view it correctly you need a more popularly used browser

LOL. You should design it not to work well in several most popular browsers, but work well in ALL standards compliant browsers.

Greetings,

I agree with CA here.

Yes, browser writers should all use a common DOM but they don't, and probably never will so it's upto the site designer to make sure they do not lose visitors because the site does not work as intended on the browser the visitor happens to prefer.

There are problems with most browsers, and some mods for phpBB which do not work with some browsers i.e. the Advanced Quick Reply does not work in most mozilla browsers or safari, but it is fixable.. however Opera is another problem as it supports 'document.getSelection()' but it does not give the desired result. And spending time solving a problem that was not mine in the first place is not a high priority, after all real life has a use to.

Greetings,

Hardly unlikely that, me in America. I'm fine where I am thanks. And I have done my fair share of debugging.

I was not necessarily talking about living in America, it is a term used to refer to major corporations. I think you missed my humor, but rest assure it was only a joke not directed towards you but at working at large companies.

Greetings,

Erm, no you missed my humour... but then the British do have a weird sense of humour.

And no one on the internet, unless I know them personally, knows me well enough to upset me in any way, so don't worry about it.

Oh! and the last thing I debugged was this: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=39775
