New themes

I am seriously impressed with the clean, bold templates here. They are without a doubt the finest on the market... And I've tried almost all of them!!
Do you have any plans to release any new ones soon? Perhaps a pre-modded one (unless that's too much like hard work)

Keep up the great work guys

Yep. New styles are created with Photoshop CS, but old styles with Fireworks MX.

And I think there will be a new style in next 2 weeks. I've got some ideas that I might implement when I'll have time.

Why do you tell us sooo early now I have 2 weeks of viewing this forum 24/7 just waiting for a new theme....always worth it though.

I am close to releasing a new style I created with PhotoImpact. I looks pretty good. I was surprised to see how well it turned out. I need to do some more work on the tpl files.

I think I am going to buy a book on Fireworks this weekend and play around with it.

According to this There are two ways to release a style, either submit it to the mods DB or start a new topic with [released] in the subject.

CyberAlien, on your Christmas theme you started your own topic and it ended up in the styles DB anyway. Does this mean we can submit it into the styles database, and start a new topic with [released] in the mean time?

Yes. There are duplicate releases in styles dev forum for almost every style that is in styles database.

I have to say, now that I have almost completed my first style for phpBB I have a new respect for template designers. There are a LOT of tpl files to update!! I couldn't do what I wanted just in css. I had to change the html structure on every tpl file. :(

New Styles

Postby thedrumchannell on Thu Dec 23, 2004 5:33 am

I don't know a whole lot about creating the styles but I have looked at quite a few and would like to say that Morpheus is my favorite theme. I like the dark blue. If you have a new one coming out it will propably be great. Keep up the good works!!!

I'm impressed
