phpBB Styles

phpBB 3 RC1 has been released, so its time to start porting styles and creating new styles.

All style releases will be posted in this forum: http://www.stsoftware.biz/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=20
I won't be posting any releases on phpbbstyles.com, and won't be providing any support here.

All released styles will have unlimited color schemes. If you don't like colors of some style or just want color to match your website, now you can do that. See http://beta.colorizeit.com/

There are currently 14 language packs for every style. If you want a translation to some other language, see sticky in this forum. I can provide translations to any language that uses latin characters, as fonts I'm using don't have any other characters.

Status of styles:
- AcidTech - [span style="color: #1AAE17; font-weight: bold;"]ported[/span].
- Aphrodite - considering to port it, but code is very different from other styles, so it will take a while, probably won't happen before phpBB goes gold.
- CS:S - will be ported.
- Evo (vbulletin style) - will be ported.
- Getaway - will be ported.
- GreenTech - [span style="color: #1AAE17; font-weight: bold;"]ported[/span] (see eTech Green).
- Helius - considering porting it if I'll manage to convert images from Fireworks to Photoshop.
- Jet - will be ported (almost complete).
- Morpheus - not planning to port as it is, but will make a similar style.
- Serenity (vbulletin style) - [span style="color: #1AAE17; font-weight: bold;"]ported[/span].
- Warcraft - will be ported, with new images for TBC and horde. Currently waiting for friends who play warcraft to send me some screenshots that will be used for header.

If style isn't mentioned above, it won't be ported.

If you have any suggestions you are welcome to post them in this thread. Please don't ask me to port a style that I said I won't port.

You'll have to wait a little bit longer, as I'll be updating the way all downloads on my website work and while updating it I'll also upload psd files. Files are ready, but website isn't. Hopefully I'll finish it by this evening, if not then probably tomorrow.

I've added psd files to download page.

To make editing easier, buttons background is merged into one layer so it can be easily resized (move corner, then scale middle) and transparent corners are made into green so you could keep select it as transparent color when exporting images via "save for web" menu.

Hmm you had mentioned earlier that you will also be porting MorpheusX but it is not in the list.... Have you abandoned that style from being ported to phpBB 3 ?

Morpheus/MorpheusX is the same style. In phpBB 2 the difference was that X style was configurable in acp, but that's not an option in phpBB 3.

I've been using MorpheusX for my phpBB 2 site.... I like it very much but it uses way too much images in its theme and that is the only thing I do not like about that theme.... I ve already started on my own prosilver based style design but that will take a long time to complete..... If a MorpheusX version is available before I convert my site to phpBB 3 I ll use that one also or else I ll have to stick to my own design.....
