SOLVED -Hestia ACP missing Permissions

Postby bearqst on Sat Nov 22, 2003 4:01 pm

Hestia Theme runs great, however, the Permissions option under the User Admin is not available.

I get the Management option under the User Admin block. But this doesn't allow me to control the users permissions, only provides access to their registrtaion information.

Any idea ?

You must have messed up something or using non-standard phpBB.

These menu items on left frame in admin control panel are not controlled by style - all styles show what phpBB tells it to show. So you must have uploaded some phpBB files in admin directory incorrectly.

Curios question, PHPBB standard ACP under User Admin has:

Ban Control
Disallow Names
Management
Permissions
Ranks

Hestia ACP (per demo here) Has

Ban Control
Disallow Name
Permissions
Ranks

What function during install of Hestia removes User Admin - Management from ACP.

I have to admit that I did not install the xs_mod. I can see where the problem is, but not sure how to fix it. The ACP User Admin is pointing to

..../admin/admin_users.php

Hestia indicates that it should point to

..../admin/admin_ug_auth.php

On this demo forum i have disabled some admin control panel functions. That's why you don't see it.

If you would install it on your forum then you will see full style with all options.
