Warn of New Topic in Thread Before Submitting

Hi there,

This is a mod that will really come in useful for me, I would love to intall it using the helius theme, will it work with it?

All I keep hearing about a admin/_xs.php file but I'm damned if I can find it in any directory of mt phpBB2 do I just create the directory?

I prefer the helius theme but I'v also found that the simple image uploader will work on any theme I have except helius, what is so different about it?

All mods will work with all styles available for phpBB.

However, installing a mod to a style other than subSilver can be problematic at least and a nightmare at the worst due to the way some styles are built. You may not find the code you are told to find in the mod instructions as 'some' styles are not clones of subSilver and therefore the HTML is different. So when your asked to find some code in a template look for a template variable, the things inside {}, if there is one in the code your asked to find as that should get you in the general area you need to be. If not then one thing to do would be to open the corresponding 'subSilver' template and see where abouts in the file the 'find' is you should then have an idea of where abouts to look in the template for the style your adding the mod to.

BUT it will be a case of trial and error until you get it right and therefore some knowledge of HTML is an advantage. After you've done it a few hundred times you'll wonder what all the fuss was about...

what would the code be for a subsilver like style?

i am currently using ICGstation

and that variable in viewtopic_body doesn't exist
