Yeah, if you don't understand those directions you should stay away from modding files. It gets much worse from here because you won't find the exact code in morph it is slightly different.

Are there instructions somewhere on the internet on how to do this? Is it a separate program you are using to edit these .tpl files? I can edit the file from the control panel but it seems this is not the way it is done. What is "OPEN, FIND, REPLACE WITH and so on... Is this something you are typing to edit these? Where are you doing this? I gotta go to bed, I have came to a screatching halt with this.

I understand the editing I just don't know what you all are using to do this. I can do it WHERE OR WHAT ARE YOU USING? I have written a lot of htm and such. It makes sense to me just need a start.

The instructions are in the text file. Find this, replace with this. Find this add inline. Find this add this after. It is all there. You can use notepad wordpad, or any other decent editor it is not as bad as it seems. But be warned it is not as simple when dealing with a modified theme.

They are nothing more than instructions. Follow....

OPEN: open that file in your editor
FIND: find the line(s) of code given
REPLACE: replace the code just found with the new code given.
BEFORE, ADD: Add the lines of code given before the code you just found
AFTER, ADD: add the lines of code given after the code you just found.

Pretty simple.

I thought those were software commands. I guess those are just human commands? I think I am starting to see the light. WHOOSERS I was seriously lost there for a while. Thanx guys. I don't mean to sound stupid. I knew it would come to me with some help. So basically everyone is editing thse files the same way you would edit your html for a website? Easy enough, I just thought you all were using some special thing that was doing all the work for you. I guess I am on track now. I think :?

I spoke too soon. I just went and tested the attachment and when I click upload it didn't work but if I switch back to subsilver it works fine. It shows me my file that I have uploaded and ready to post in subsilver but won't upload in morphuesX. Hopefully this is more simple. Any ideas why this is happening?

Well I didn't want to say anything but there are a LOT of .tpl files and there is no way I could have edited them that fast. I would double check all coding and files first.
