Greetings,

The file 'admin/admin_forum_extends.php' is not a standard phpBB file and you would need to alter it like you altered 'admin/admin_forums.php' as it probably does a similar job.

It is there, on the right side bottom of the column.

I Got rid of hierarchy , i really like simple forums.

How can I get rid of it, the manage extend link in my admin navigation ? Please.

What I did was, I installed hierarchy with my active forum and was getting fraustrated because there were to many errors. At teh time i thought this was the only mod that i could have sub forum. After getting fraustrated, I then took an other look to see if I can find a simplier solution, I was able to search and find Simple forums, Thank God.

So as of now, I finally got rid of hierarchy but onlything is the above problem, so i can install Simple forums

Can someone plaese help me with teh simple mod, i have subdark template installed with alot of mods on it . I did all that was asked for me to do through the install.txt but I can't see this info below in my admin. I really need this to work, I would really appreciated.

From the forum management page in the ACP you will see a list of the catagories with forums below. i.e.

Catagory Title
- Forum 1
- Forum 2
- Forum 3

So to make forum 3 a subforum of forum 2 click the edit link next to forum 3 and in the 'Catagory' Dropdown you will see a list of Catagory titles with the forums within those catagories offset with a '-'. From the list select forum 2 this will then set forum 2 as the parent for forum 3 click the update button. Forum 3 will then appear indented in the list, this indicates that it's a subforum.

If you now preview the forum you 'should' see forum 3 listed as a subforum of forum 2, if you've edited the index template correctly.

Repeat this process for the subforums you wish to create.

Please help me. I never have problems installing mods but this one is killing and aint hard but I just don't understand why it aint appearing.

Greetings,

Read this: viewtopic.php?p=54142#54142

And those forums are just example and they actually don't exist as YOUR forums on YOUR forum could be called anything.
