Present Activity
I've not been as active in past few months to some work stuff, but within 6 weeks or so it should all be tidied up and hopefully within that time limit phpBB Olympus RC will be released.
Future phpBB MODs
I'm not planning on doing any new mods for phpBB2. Neither will I be doing lots of little mods for Olympus like I have done for phpBB 2.x line because:
- They are too small and not worth converting to release as other mod for Olympus
- They are already implemented in Olympus
- They were requested by users of this forum and no need to convert to Olympus
Past phpBB2 Releases
phpBB2 MOD's that fit into the above category will still be available and release for public download on my website.
phpBB2 style colour schemes will also still be available and kept up to date with phpBB 2.x line.
Future phpBB3 Releases
What I am planning (or hoping) to do for Olympus at the moment (maybe one or two more after this) are a few bigish MODs.
- Convert Contact Board Admin MOD (Name: Olympus Contact Form)
-- Make standard fields completely customisable in the ACP
-- Make user defined fields with various input types such as <select> and usual text fields
-- Change completely the interface of the form
-- Auto fill some field names dependant on user data on forum.
-- Add image confirmation
- Convert Custom Pages MOD (Name: Olympus Custom Pages)
-- Add support for customised URL's, otherwise known as page slugs (viewpage.php?p=page_slug)
-- Add support for password pages
-- Add support for user only pages (via user ID)
-- Add support for disabling pages for guests
-- Add support for group only pages
Present phpBB Releases
In an attempt as a last push to Olympus, I have updated my releases to latest phpBB version which do not fit into the above categories headed under 'Future phpBB MODs'.
